Fox News (for what it's worth) is reporting that Jay Leno could move back to the 11:30 p.m. slot sooner rather than later. Didn't Leno have a two-year "no cancellation" clause in his contract? Of course, anything is negotiable. It seems that while the network was content to lose the 10 p.m. ratings war, the affiliates were not. Max is better with Bruce, anyway.
